OMS QA - Lead Location:
Bolingbrook, IL (Onsite from day one or initial 1-2 month remote also fine) Duration:
12+ Month Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for OMS functionality. Validate end-to-end order flow processes (Order Creation, Sourcing, Fulfillment, Returns, Cancellations, etc.). Perform integration testing with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., eCommerce, ERP, WMS, POS). Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Validate data across OMS and backend systems. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Maintain traceability of test cases to business requirements. Create and maintain test documentation, test scripts, and test data. Must-Have Skills
Hands-on experience testing an Order Management System (OMS). Strong understanding of order lifecycle processes (capture, split, allocation, sourcing, shipping, cancellation, returns). Solid knowledge of SQL for backend data validation. Experience in functional, integration, and regression testing. Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps). Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI). Exposure to retail/eCommerce business processes. Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Manhattan OMS, IBM Sterling OMS, Mule or similar platforms. Exposure to retail/eCommerce business processes. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI). Seniority level
