Production Support Specialist - 3rd Shift Salary and Shift Details
Your starting pay will be between $19.40 - $22.85 depending on your shift. This is a full-time, 5-day work week on the 3rd shift (11:30pm - 7:30am, Sunday night through Friday morning). We will work with you to find a shift that fits your lifestyle if this one does not. Responsibilities
Prepare greeting card stock for the Cutter to cut. Jogs, skids and moves stock to the cutter. Carry stock to skids and move finished skids into the outgoing area. Responsible for complete make-ready, run, monitoring and maintenance. Remove die-cut cards from full sheets using a hammer or an Automatic Card Extractor (ACE). Perform make-readies on the ACE and prepare rails/bars and press set-up. Responsible for quality sampling and stacking cards onto skids according to register, blockouts, salvage and spoilage. Determine when adhesive will be mixed and when tests will be performed. Ensure ingredients are available in the area for mixing. Assist the Webtron press operator with press setup and changeover, make-readies, machine adjustments and routine preventative maintenance procedures. Support production areas by ordering correct stock, moving components, inputting information in the computer system, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Participate in performance dialogues and team problem-solving activities. Set up and operate a Gem/Cello machine, wholesale sealer, accumulator and shrink tunnel, and operate a lift truck while tracking stock in the OAI. Complete paperwork moving stock into or out of the department. Pack finished goods on a packaging line. Identify potential problems and proactively seek resolution and alternative solutions. Be flexible to move to different work assignments as needed. Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise
Basic Qualifications
You’re at least 18 years of age You can grip and push/pull lifts of stock 2”–3.5” thick, 80–120 times per hour You can lift 20–30 lb stacks of stock 60–80 times per hour, with frequent lifting throughout the shift of 40–60 lbs You can stand, walk, twist, bend, and reach above shoulder level for extended periods You can perform repetitive hand/wrist motions and fine motor tasks Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Strong communication and problem-solving skills Important Working Information
Position may be in several departments; you will be expected to learn and perform multiple assignments within this job classification.
