Position summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our prepared meals and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You may also wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their needs. Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; be flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and seasonal productions; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; reduce waste; assist customers per company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; maintain energy, commitment, and passion for the work; advocate for the department and the club by prioritizing the member experience in the meat area. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in business processes. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; seek opportunities for improvement and adapt to change.
