Overview
As the
Associate Manager of Continuous Improvement , you will serve as a key advisor to the Merchandising department, focusing on supplier performance, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll conduct supplier audits, analyze return data, and work closely with vendors to implement corrective actions and process enhancements. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background, a passion for Lean principles, and a drive to make a measurable impact. Responsibilities
Analyze product return data and implement corrective actions to reduce returns. Conduct on-site audits of supplier manufacturing and quality systems. Foster strong relationships with suppliers to improve product quality and reduce costs. Evaluate and select testing protocols for automotive components. Address product-related concerns from customers, stores, and distribution centers. Develop and coordinate strategic initiatives with vendors focused on quality and efficiency. Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a production environment. Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts (e.g., Kaizen, TQM, SPC, ISO/TS). Proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL, and other database tools. Willingness and ability to travel frequently. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the automotive industry or with automotive components. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Global mindset and awareness of industry trends and competitor strategies. About Us
