Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator / Project Manager who holds a valid Florida General Contractor (GC) License. This individual will be responsible for estimating drywall scopes, managing awarded projects, overseeing budgets and schedules, and ensuring successful delivery for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate drywall take-offs, estimates, and proposals.
Manage multiple drywall projects from bid to closeout.
Coordinate with clients, GCs, subcontractors, and internal field teams.
Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and risk mitigation.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and manpower plans.
Oversee field execution to ensure quality, safety, and profitability.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to project teams.
Qualifications
Active Florida General Contractor License (GC) required.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial drywall estimating and project management.
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and building codes.
Proficiency with estimating software (Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range (Tampa Market): $85,000 – $90,000 base salary (depending on experience), plus performance incentives.
