Assistant Project Manager/Construction Manager

Terracon . We are seeking a skilled professional for a role split evenly between construction management and quality assurance on roofing, pavement, and building envelope projects. The candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while maintaining safety and compliance. Travel is expected to be 80% of the time. Responsibilities include: Managing all aspects of facilities engineering projects to ensure safety, timeliness, and scope adherence. Monitoring progress, troubleshooting operational issues, and coordinating with vendors and contractors. Conducting meetings, preparing reports, and managing project documentation. Setting priorities, assigning tasks, and communicating with clients and project teams. Approving invoices, preparing change orders, and collections. Construction Management duties: Planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction on-site. Identifying and resolving project risks and issues. Reviewing plans, ensuring compliance, and monitoring progress. Maintaining safety standards and managing subcontractors. Quality Assurance duties: Verifying construction activities align with plans and specifications. Coordinating communication between subcontractors and project teams. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, with at least 3 years of experience. Valid driver’s license, OSHA 10 Certification. Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications. Strong communication skills.
