Job Description
HDR is currently in need of a
Senior Wastewater Project Manager (PM)
to work as a member of our Water Business Group in Kansas City or St. Louis, Missouri. This position will be responsible for assisting in the growth and development of the Wastewater Market Sector in Missouri and Kansas, which includes projects such as treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, alternative delivery methods, and master planning. Primary responsibilities include: Advancing business development strategies Development and pursuit of new clients and projects Client and project management for key projects Providing technical input on projects Staff development and oversight Collaborate with other Business Class and Marketing staff in pursuing new projects, taking a leadership role in key pursuits. Serve as client manager for key clients, providing leadership in addressing client issues and coordinating multiple projects. Serve as PM for strategic projects, contribute technical input for business class, and help develop capabilities of Business Class staff. Oversee the development and direction of key staff. Preferred Qualifications
MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering Experience in alternative project delivery methods Project Management Professional certification 10+ years in the design of complex municipal wastewater systems Strong technical background in wastewater treatment unit processes Proven project leadership and management skills, with at least 5 years of staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and mentoring experience Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong business development and strategic planning skills Excellent team player, capable of functioning effectively in various roles on project teams Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 10 years of related experience Minimum 5 years of project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience with MS Office and MS Project; Access experience is a plus Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills Commitment to our employee-owned culture and active participation Our Beliefs and Commitment
