Base Pay Range $68,000.00/yr – $104,000.00/yr
Job Overview TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Modernization to coordinate all details involved with purchasing, scheduling, and delivery of materials for modernization projects, ensuring timely, productive, and cost‑efficient completion.
Responsibilities
Set up new modernization jobs and change orders, submitting them for processing.
Prepare job submittal books for building owner and consultant submissions.
Maintain job files, including computer database records of status, correspondence, and required actions; close files after final acceptance.
Issue purchase orders and file them into job books.
Follow up with customers on job schedules and scope of work issues relevant to modernization projects.
Coordinate issuance of letters of intent, city permits, plan checks, DSA, and OSHPD approvals; prioritize OSHPD jobs and coordinate inspections with superintendents and agencies.
Monitor job progress through communication with customers, salespersons, modernization managers, and superintendents, coordinating follow‑ups and delivery dates.
Prepare acceptances and process turnovers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the elevator/construction industry.
Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment and construction industry installation procedures.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle abstract and concrete variables.
