The Associate Laboratory Directorate, Plutonium Infrastructure (ALDPI), at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) manages the execution of major capital projects related to infrastructure required to meet plutonium pit production deliverables. This is an opportunity for an exceptional project professional to work directly with senior leadership to ensure execution of the new Plutonium Infrastructure Directorate capital construction project portfolio. The Directorate is at the center of execution of capital projects in and around the Los Alamos National Laboratory's plutonium pit production facilities for U.S. nuclear weapons and is focused on sustaining the current stockpile; providing life extensions of the stockpile; and helping to ensure the safety, security, and effectiveness of the U.S. nuclear deterrent. Reporting to the Pit Infrastructure Project-Program Director under the Senior Director for Line-Item Projects this position is critically important to the safe and efficient implementation of programmatic elements. Manager of Projects 3 (MOP3) , you will direct project resources in the execution of construction projects under ALDPI-LIP's Pit Infrastructure portfolio and assure performance against relevant prime contract elements. You will assign and manage field resources, provide training and mentorship for personnel on assigned scope, be responsible for interpreting design, interact directly with key project stakeholders, and assist with Integrated Safety Management (ISM). What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements: Technical Leadership : Proven leadership and management of a technically oriented project management team in the execution of all levels of projects, including supervision and development of employees. Demonstrated experience managing programmatic elements for medium to large scale projects. Technical Excellence : Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience managing nuclear facility and or programmatic project work. Project experience with DOE O 413.3B projects or equivalent system of requirements. Management : Demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership, mentorship, prioritization, and management of assigned employees in a collaborative and participative environment to build strong teams. Collaboration and Coalition Building : Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong and effective customer relations. Ability to promote an open and informal communication environment, to develop mutual trust and teamwork, and to facilitate employee self-development. Personal Leadership : Proven leadership and management in the following areas: personnel management, customer engagement, financial and schedule management. Communication : Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills that includes reporting on project status to senior level management, project stakeholders, as well as regulatory inquiries. Compliance and Security : Demonstrated experience developing and implementing plans or programs to meet or exceed contractual requirements, performance measures, regulations, and laws, including the proven ability to do so while operating within a highly sensitive national security environment. LANL Operations : Familiarity with construction in and around nuclear facility operations or other highly complex, hazardous operations, particularly as it pertains to the Los Alamos National Laboratory Mission. Education/Experience:

Position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 5 years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation. Desired Qualifications: Stakeholder relations : Experience working with federal customers, or representatives, at headquarters or field office level in a strategic manner to maximize satisfaction. Experience working on integrated project teams in construction. Clearance : Active DOE Q clearance desired. Training/Certifications:
