As a

Project Manager , you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the successful execution of projects from quote through commissioning. This includes managing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and client communications to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. The Project Manager serves as the central point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution throughout the full project lifecycle.

The Project Manager is expected to create and maintain detailed project plans, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and facilitate the resolution of issues that may arise through any phase of the project. An understanding of mechanical systems, automation, and packaging processes is crucial for interpreting technical specifications, tracking milestones, and aligning cross-functional teams around project goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities KRA # 1 – Project Planning & execution

Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, resources, and milestones

Manage multiple concurrent projects from kickoff through delivery and commissioning

Track progress, adjust plans proactively, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met

KRA # 2 – Cross-functional team coordination

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and sales teams

Align internal stakeholders on project goals and resolve cross-departmental challenges

Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates

KRA # 3 – Client communication & Relationship management

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle

Translate customer needs into actionable project requirements

Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and handle scope changes professionally

KRA # 4 – Technical Oversight

Understand and interpret mechanical and automation system specifications

Oversee design reviews, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and site acceptance testing (SAT)

Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with customer and regulatory standards

KRA # 5 – Risk management & Continuous improvement

Identify and mitigate project risks early in the process

Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost with minimal disruption

Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future execution

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field

1–3 years of experience managing technical or capital equipment projects (packaging machinery experience preferred)

Experience in roles requiring a strong technical aptitude (engineering, design, maintenance, etc.)

Experience in roles requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation with a win-win attitude (sales, customer service, etc.)

Demonstrated understanding of mechanical systems, automation, and manufacturing processes

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
