schedule is Friday-Sunday, 6am-6:30pm. The shift incentive includes an 11.11% shift differential and a 3 day workweek. What you can expect as a Sheetmetal/Structures Technician at DAS Aviation
As Sheetmetal Technician, each day will bring new experiences and opportunities for growth. You will need to have a basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft structures, reading blueprints, working from drawings, fastening systems, procedures and techniques. Responsibilities
Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe components. Application and removal of sealant, sound deadening and finish materials. Maintenance, cleaning and repair of shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required. Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools associated with sheet-metal functions. Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases. Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English. Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Qualifications
