Transportation Project Manager - Wisconsin

Location: Madison / Middleton, Wisconsin. Hybrid work model.
Overview AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented, and motivated Transportation Project Manager for immediate employment in the Madison / Middleton, Wisconsin office. Responsibilities include oversight and management of active projects, project tasks and teams, business development, and support for transportation projects and pursuits. Projects may include roadways/highways, bridges, utilities, and facilities related to transportation or infrastructure for a range of clients, including WisDOT and other counties, municipalities, and clients.
Responsibilities
Work with local management to develop and execute project pursuits and delivery
Formulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including teaming and positioning for strategic pursuits and identification of required staff resources to win and effectively deliver projects
Establish relationships with both external and internal clients
Manage and mentor staff to enable seamless design and plan development
Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values internally and externally
Demonstrate excellent analytical, technical, and communication (oral and written) skills
Show a proven track record with client account management, project pursuit execution, and engineering staff development
Oversee project administration, establish project objectives and policies
Provide management and guidance to subordinate managers; enforce company and project policies; serve as primary liaison between AECOM and client interface
Oversee and ensure all facets of the project are constructed per design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers
Manage the project from budgeting/schedule through procurement and closeout; significant profit/loss responsibility for the assigned project
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
Client relationships and business development experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
10+ years of progressive experience designing and delivering projects
Wisconsin PE or ability to obtain a PE within 6 months of employment
Experience as project manager or lead roadway engineer on WISDOT projects
Additional Information
This position does not offer sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation range: USD 115,000 - USD 165,000 per year. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
