Responsibilities
Use floor buffer/extractor to clean hallways, dining rooms, and common area floors daily. Apply floor stripper and wax per cleaning schedule; remove wax as needed. Respect resident privacy and preferences regarding room arrangement and personal items. Remove and dispose of trash according to department procedures. Secure housekeeping supplies out of resident reach at all times. Disposal of trash, waste, and bio‑hazardous materials in accordance with facility policies. Post signs indicating safety hazards whenever housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards. Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure.
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or GED. Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper.
