Our client is looking for a
Project Manager
to work with project teams of Architects and Engineers on client projects. This position is based in their
Orlando, FL
office, with a hybrid schedule of two (2) days working from home. This role involves active participation in client projects, from marketing to fee proposals, design, permitting, and construction. The Project Manager will help ensure project success by achieving goals related to scope, deliverables (reports, drawings, specifications), schedule, client and internal budgets, quality control, and client satisfaction. The role requires expertise and experience to perform all aspects of the Project Manager responsibilities as directed by the Market Sector Leader. In this role, you will: Manage project activities and contribute to multi-disciplinary efforts. Ensure project teams adhere to best practices and quality standards. Handle project communications and documentation in accordance with company guidelines. Monitor and manage contracts, financial performance, invoicing, and collections. Develop and track project budgets and schedules. Establish project plans, milestones, and coordinate with internal and external team members. Lead external teams, including consultants, technical experts, and construction partners, ensuring adherence to standards and contractual requirements. Guide internal team members in completing design and documentation for complex projects. Organize and lead project meetings. Manage project scope, control out-of-scope work, and prevent scope creep. Implement lessons learned and assess project impact after completion. Maintain proactive communication to foster a positive client experience. Understand organizational business, operations, and strategy. Support company culture and team engagement by managing hours and responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to project staff and mentees, building trust and pragmatic problem-solving strategies. Perform other duties as assigned.
