Assistant Food Safety/Quality Manager
to join our campus FSQ Team. Your passion for continuous improvement will support the company in its drive to create a best-in-world quality culture through leadership and member interaction. This role is suited for someone with a track record of expanding responsibilities and seeking growth and new challenges. Responsibilities
Ensure the daily HACCP documentation is complete, pre-shipments are reviewed, and proper follow-ups are documented Represent Food Safety and Quality on cross-functional project teams Identify, define, and solve quality issues in collaboration with plant operations, quality, and reliability excellence teams Lead third-party audits and serve in a lead role in regulatory audits Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures related to safety and quality of products and processes, ensuring compliance with GMPs and regulatory requirements Troubleshoot day-to-day food safety and quality opportunities to help teams define proactive solutions Educate members on food safety and quality applications and systems Collaborate with facility RE, Ops and Cost teams to improve price of non-conformance (PONC) and First Pass Quality performance Lead project teams that improve process and product quality May plan, organize, and coach the work of the Food Safety Quality Leader Maintain facility food safety plans, quality plan, and food defense plan Coordinate product tests and holds between departments; review certificates and disposition materials promptly Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Microbiology or a related field required Experience
2-4 years of experience in a quality leadership position preferred Experience in food required; meat/poultry processing preferred Experience working under regulatory systems, USDA experience preferred Skills and Competencies
Intermediate knowledge of food safety requirements including HACCP Understanding of quality systems and ability to execute against them Basic understanding of statistical quality tools and continuous improvement processes (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Desire to become a future leader (potential replacement for Food Safety Coordinator or other roles) Understanding of quality and sanitation systems with ability to execute them Detail-oriented, responsible, self-motivated Experience with SAP and Redzone desired Willingness to relocate to other facilities within the organization Details
Date: October 29, 2025 Location: Riverside, Sheboygan Falls, WI – Travel between facilities required Coach: Food Safety Quality Coordinator – Campus Hours/Shift: 1st Shift; typically 7am – 4pm; occasional off-shift work; rotational weekend work Member Status: Full Time, Salaried Travel: 10% of time Reason for Posting: Replacement Benefits
