Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house looking for a senior operator, with a focus on metals, to cover the CIS region in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Execution – Manage the full lifecycle of metal shipments, from contract nomination to final delivery across the CIS region. Logistics & Supply Chain – Oversee multimodal transportation (rail, road, and sea), ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. Customs & Compliance – Handle CIS-specific trade regulations, customs documentation, and import/export procedures. Stakeholder Coordination – Liaise with traders, suppliers, warehouses, freight providers, and financial institutions to ensure smooth operations. Risk & Market Awareness – Monitor geopolitical developments, sanctions, and trade restrictions affecting metal flows in the region. Key Requirements:
5+ years of experience in metal operations within the CIS region, preferably with a trading house. Strong logistics expertise across rail, road, and sea freight, including CIS-specific transport routes. Deep understanding of customs & regulations, including sanctions compliance. Fluent in English & Russian; additional CIS languages are a plus. Ability to work in Abu Dhabi and travel within the region as required.
