Executive Recruiter Food & Beverage Manufacturing About the Role Responsible for the supervision, coordination, direction and monitoring of the daily activities within the department of a multi-crafted team of members in the performance of daily equipment maintenance, PM's, shop work, and the predictive/preventative maintenance for several production lines from pre-batch through to final packing. In addition, you will be expected to ensure objectives are achieved and work is being done in compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements, and GMP guidelines and by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate staff.

Responsibilities

Supervise the mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of all the plant equipment including as a minimum Conveyors, mixers, ovens, fryers, motors, pump and ammonia, pneumatic and hydraulics systems.

Practice GMPs, follow USDA/FDA guidelines, HACCP, HAZMAT, PM's, CMMS (MP2).

Train maintenance teams and other plant personnel in quality/safety processes and new job processes to performance standards.

Serve as technical "go to" as point of contact for maintenance management to keep plant running at peak efficiency.

Coordinate/communicate with site personnel to identify and prevent problems that affect plant performance (serve as "referee"/"mentor").

Lead your team with established priorities related to plant production goals.

Develop and stimulate improvement processes, techniques and good work practices (GMP’s).

Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance methods and processes, working with other functions (e.g., maintenance engineers).

Be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the MP2 work order system, analyze and produce reports.

Ensure that work is performed safely and in accordance with Ruiz Foods standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing environment and excellent knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronic, PLC’s, mechanical equipment, refrigeration, boilers, and facilities.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
