HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Columbia, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title: MRI Technologist Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour (Thursday–Saturday, 07:00–19:30) Job Responsibilities: Perform high-quality MRI examinations across a diverse patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for physician interpretation. Utilize all MRI resources and equipment to ensure accurate imaging and efficient workflow. Prepare and administer contrast media safely and effectively. Start peripheral IVs and maintain appropriate patient care standards during MRI procedures. Operate Siemens MRI scanners, including Siemens Espree. Produce high-quality imaging with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment. Maintain compliance with all required certifications, licenses, and health screenings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 1 year of MRI experience Certifications: ARRT (MR), BLS (AHA or Red Cross equivalent) Education: Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology Licensure: South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association license required Technical Proficiency: Siemens MRI systems (Siemens Espree experience required) Proficiency in abdomen, pelvis, brain, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal imaging Skilled in diffusion, gradient echo, image post-processing (ADC mapping, subtraction), MIP, MRP, and T1/T2 weighted imaging Charting System: Epic preferred Work Settings: Adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, ER/trauma Preferred Skills & Experience Teaching hospital and community hospital experience Experience performing CINE (CSF flow study) and perfusion imaging Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent imaging (preferred) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
