Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/30/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title: X-Ray Technologist Location: York, PA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00) Job Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for adult and pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Conduct imaging procedures including abdomen (supine, upright, decubitus), chest, skull, orbits, spine, pelvis, and upper/lower extremities. Operate imaging and PACS equipment safely and effectively, ensuring accurate image capture and documentation. Perform bedside and portable imaging as required. Utilize C-Arm during surgical or mobile radiographic procedures. Follow proper isolation precautions and infection control protocols. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system. Participate in a rotating schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and potential on-call shifts. Provide imaging services for patients, including those with COVID-19, adhering to facility safety policies. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist in a hospital setting. Proficiency in EPIC charting system (required). Experience in trauma imaging (Level I or II preferred). Ability to perform imaging procedures across multiple body regions and patient populations. Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills. Must be able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
