Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Siemens PET/CT experience and proper nuclear medicine certification for a Level 1 trauma teaching facility. Responsibilities Work in a nuclear medicine department performing PET/CT scans Adult patient population, Level 1 trauma center in a teaching hospital setting Shift is 5x8 hours, with varying start times from 6:30 am to 10:00 am and ending between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm No call requirements One Saturday shift may be required every 4 weeks depending on unit needs No holiday shifts required No floating between service lines or facilities Utilizes Siemens scanners Epic charting system Must provide your own radiation badge as badges are not provided by the facility Team does not float, so all work is within assigned unit Teal top and black pants scrub requirement Parking is available nights and weekends only, with a one-time $20 fee During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed Returning travelers must have a 1-year separation if previously employed at this system Requests for time off must be declared at time of consideration and excessive time off may delay processing Local candidates (within 60 miles) considered at a different pay rate Requirements Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Current BLS certification (AHA required) Certification required: NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) Additional certification required: NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT) SCRQSA (State License) in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography required if applicable Experience with Siemens scanners required Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler or agency SSN and driver’s license required for consideration Experience in Level I or II trauma center preferred Experience with Epic charting preferred First-time travelers accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628208.
