Veterinarian – Mixed Practice – Elko Veterinary Clinic – Elko, NV
AmeriVet Veterinary Partners is seeking a qualified DVM to join our mixed animal emergency and general practice team at Elko Veterinary Clinic.
About the Clinic Elko Veterinary Clinic is the largest and busiest clinic in Northeastern Nevada. With over 6,000 sq. ft. of indoor space open 7 days a week, we handle a high volume of urgent care and emergency cases. Services include digital radiology, in‑house diagnostics, ultrasound, MRI & CT imaging, electrocardiography, video‑otoscopy, laser therapy, regenerative medicine, orthopedic surgery (TTA, TPLO, interlocking nail, external fixation, toggle pin, plate & screw fracture repair), endoscopy, radiocautery surgery, glaucoma testing, and dentistry with digital radiography.
Scope of Practice
Mixed animal practice – equine, ranch, family livestock, companion, and exotic pets
Emergency and general practice medicine, including diagnostics and advanced surgical procedures
Collaboration with a dedicated team of techs, assistants, and experienced DVMs for mentorship and continued learning
The Team Our staff is committed to excellent patient care, client communication, and teamwork. We have multiple techs and assistants and currently six highly skilled DVMs.
Location Embrace rural living and historic charm while enjoying proximity to Elko Airport, fishing spots, alpine lakes, and the Ruby Mountains. Nearby recreation includes snowmobiling, heli‑skiing, the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, and more.

Qualifications & Expectations
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Current veterinary license
Experience in mixed animal or equine practice preferred
Strong communication skills and commitment to client care
Ability to work in a high‑volume, emergency‑ready environment
