Schedule Full Time — Weekday Mid‑shift (Monday – Thursday) 10:30 am–9:00 pm.

Location 2200 Fowler Grove Boulevard, Winter Garden, Florida 34787.

Community AdventHealth Winter Garden is a state‑of‑the‑art hospital with 80 beds, offering a wide range of health care services, including emergency care, surgical services, lab work, primary and specialty care, imaging, spine health, women’s and men’s care, and pediatric‑friendly services. The hospital is undergoing a major expansion that will add three additional floors to the patient tower, new women’s services, and 40 progressive care unit beds, including obstetrics and gynecology, labor and delivery, and a future level‑two NICU. The expansion will also add operating rooms and additional capacity for beds. The tower expansion is scheduled for completion in 2026.

Role Responsibilities Under general supervision, the primary duties include imaging both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following the age‑specific guidelines and facility parameters, transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation, and maintaining accurate records in the hospital computer system. The MRI technologist actively participates in outstanding customer service, maintains respectful relationships, and implements the facility’s principles.

Value to the Team

Performs all exams using established protocols; uses facility policy for patient identification and educates patients on the exam. Screens patients for contrast allergies.

Completes all exams in a timely manner, keeps workflow moving, and minimizes empty table time. Communicates post‑exam with transportation and discharge of out‑patients.

Operates all imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment; adapts protocols for patients of all ages.

Properly screens patients of child‑bearing age and operates imaging equipment to minimize radiation exposure. Practices infection control standards, uses approved PPE, and maintains an organized, clean environment. Performs QA on MRI scanners. May transport pharmaceutical waste and must complete required training.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Radiology or Sonography.

ARRT — American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (M) or ARMRIT — Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MR) (ARDMS or ARRT Magnetic Resonance).

CPR certification.
