LABUR
Overview
LABUR is supporting a client in advancing their healthcare AI strategy by driving the vision, execution, and governance of critical initiatives. This engagement focuses on transforming clinical and business needs into actionable product requirements and delivering AI-enabled solutions, particularly in imaging and EMR, that meet regulatory (SaMD) and governance standards. Acting as a strategic leader, the AI Product Manager will align cross‑functional stakeholders, oversee vendor deliverables, and guide projects from concept through launch to ensure compliance, scalability, and measurable business impact.
Responsibilities

Turn clinical needs, market insights, and business objectives into actionable product requirements. Oversee prioritization of AI use cases and make sure there are clear phase gates from concept to launch.
Project & Vendor Management: Face off and coordinate with external vendors and internal team, making sure deliverables align with roadmap, timelines, and quality standards. Follow up on dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple AI product workstreams. Operate as a main liaison across vendors, internal clinical experts, and technical teams.
Governance & Compliance: Integrate Responsible AI governance, regulatory, and market considerations into product planning. Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, and Legal teams to ensure SaMD compliance is included throughout development and launch. Create, maintain and update documentation for product development lifecycle, validation, and approval processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with clinicians, business leaders, and IT partners to refine use cases and adoption strategies. Present progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership and governance councils.
Measurement & Adoption
Establish KPIs for product success (e.g., clinical impact, adoption, business value). Follow post-launch performance and recommend roadmap adjustments.
