Linux Systems Engineer
Job Description: Linux Systems Engineer with a strong background in Red Hat environments to join our infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone with intermediate-level expertise who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working across multiple technologies including containerization, automation, and storage systems.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Linux expert, focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 9) and Red Hat server environments.
Manage and maintain Linux deployments across various distributions including Ubuntu and legacy CentOS systems.
Perform installation, configuration, patching, and securing of Linux servers.
Explore and implement automation solutions using tools like Ansible, and scripting in Python or PowerShell.
Support containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with Linux-related aspects of VMware, EMC, and Pure Storage environments.
Contribute to data parsing and processing projects based on Red Hat platforms.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
