Summary As a Security Specialist, you will implement departmental strategy by establishing team and individual objectives, managing your own tasks and those of subordinates, and supporting all staff within the assigned budget. You will lead by example, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. This role promotes the company's core values to foster a culture of ethical practices, legal compliance, and a union‑free environment. You will support the facilities team by managing subordinates and safeguarding the MOBIS facility against various security risks.
About Mobis North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electronics (PE) systems‑critical components for electric vehicle production. MNAe utilizes state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing technology for battery system assembly.
Essential Functions
Create blueprints for security installations.
Manage all security‑related issues for company facilities and grounds.
Coordinate with external agencies and service providers to contract services and ensure compliance with regulations.
Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance plan for physical security systems, including CCTV cameras, gates, metal detection systems, monitoring systems, ACS systems, biometric readers/scanners, video production, credential inventory, and audits.
Oversee the facility's security systems and delegate tasks to appropriate team members.
Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program to mitigate physical security risks.
Manage security services and monitor contracts to ensure timely plant updates and year‑round routine maintenance.
Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to management.
Prepare reports, analyses, resolutions, and cost projections for departmental activities.
Review invoices for accuracy and processing.
Travel as needed to visit other sites.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in industrial security, cybersecurity, electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
2-10+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of security requirements and systems.
Preferred Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC applications.
Project management experience in the security field.
Experience managing multiple sites.
Familiarity with ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 standards.
Bilingual in English/Korean preferred but not required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
Equivalent certifications and/or 2+ years of experience with security systems preferred.
One or more of the following certifications preferred:
Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
Professional Certified Investigator (PCI)
Physical Security Professional (PSP)
Associate Protection Professional (APP)
Valid driver's license required.
