Position Overview The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. The position partners across the HR function to deliver value-added service throughout the organization. The Sr. HRBP is accountable for the HR functions of employee relations, performance management and compensation. Maintains a high level of business literacy pertaining to the organization’s needs, plans, and culture.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations that align business objectives and workforce strategy.

Coach and develop team members and leaders.

Lead and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough objective investigations while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Oversee and analyze compensation benchmarking, identify trends and making data-driven recommendations for competitive base and incentive pay programs to attract and retain top talent.

Administer Benefits Program, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and leave policies, ensuring competitive offerings and compliance with regulations.

Provide strategic performance management guidance, partnering with leaders on coaching, career development, succession planning, and disciplinary actions.

Foster a culture of engagement by working closely with management and employees to enhance work relationships, improve morale, and drive retention.

Use HR analytics and key workforce metrics to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend data-informed solutions to leadership.

Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining in-depth knowledge of employment laws and proactively mitigating legal risks in partnership with the Legal Team.

Lead and drive HR project initiatives that support organizational goals, including talent development, DEI, and change management initiatives.

Serve as a subject matter expert on HR policies and best practices, providing guidance and training to leaders and employees.

Administer Workers Comp and Leaves of Absences.

Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale.

Prepare termination paperwork.

Assist with HR team projects as assigned.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred; HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) a plus.

10+ years of progressive HR experience, with expertise in employee relations, compensation, talent management, and organizational development.

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into HR solutions.

Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decision-making at an executive level.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS related software.

Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel on an ongoing basis

Office Headquarters: California

Business Travel: Up to 10%
