Role Overview As we are bidding to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Metrics is seeking an Senior Contracting Specialist for complex healthcare and professional service contracts across the VA enterprise. This position focuses on applying advanced knowledge of FAR Part 15 and VAAR to healthcare procurements.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience supporting complex or healthcare-related service contracts.
In-depth understanding of FAR 13/15 and medical contract language.
Strong background in price analysis, negotiation documentation, and modification management.
Bachelor’s degree and FAC-C Professional or DAWIA Level III preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop, evaluate, and administer complex healthcare service solicitations and awards.
Support acquisition planning and market research.
Collaborate with program offices on PWS/SOW development.
Draft source selection and evaluation documentation.
Track and report procurement progress using VA systems.
