What you’ll do
Act as the top escalation point for daily inbound tickets/calls (L1–L3 scope); own issues end‑to‑end.
Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve across M365, Windows Server/AD, and networking/security.
Configure and manage backups/DR; stabilize recurring issues and drive root‑cause fixes.
Support hybrid environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Entra ID/Azure AD, SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams).
Work with SonicWall firewalls, HP switches, VLANs/VPNs; handle routing basics and site upgrades.
Maintain clean documentation/time entries in a PSA (Autotask or similar) and uphold SLA standards.
Mentor L1/L2 techs on troubleshooting, documentation, and client communication.
Provide onsite support for escalations and client visits (~25% within the Chicago metro).
What you bring
MSP background (required, no exceptions) supporting mixed environments and multiple clients.
Strong troubleshooting across M365, Windows Server/AD (DNS/DHCP/GPO), networking/security.
Experience with PSA/RMM (Autotask or similar).
Clear, empathetic communication with non‑technical users; calm under pressure.
Collaborative, humble team player who owns outcomes and raises the bar for quality.
Reliable transportation for local client visits; able to pass background check and drug screen.
Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 (DOE)
