Ribbon Communications
As part of the Supply Chain and Manufacturing team, this position will assist with developing and implementing the company's demand plan. Key responsibilities include:
Creates a demand plan that satisfies customer demand with optimum inventory levels and resource utilization.
Measures overall forecast accuracy. Evaluate Forecast versus orders and suggest corrective actions.
Work with Product teams and Sales to continuously improve forecasting process.
Support the S&OP process meetings to review service levels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy, supply plan to meet demand and resource implications. Identify constraints and challenges.
Interface as required with internal customers and suppliers to resolve issues and enable Company goals to be met.
Revenue Risks
Assess revenue risks and gaps within the schedule or inventory goals and communicate appropriately within the organization.
NPI Forecast Support
Work with Supply Chain Engineering to ensure forecast and support of NPI implementations including pilot / production ramps. Reflect forecast to support product down ramp within the life cycle.
Conflict Resolution
Identify, negotiate and resolve conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order promising.
Finished Goods Inventory
Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels in ensure high service levels, i.e. product availability and capacity requirements. Determine and update planning parameters to ensure that the plan supports inventory level / capacity levels
Develop a working knowledge of the company's products and process to ensure optimal demand plan stability and load leveling.
Essential Skills / Requirements
Two plus years experience in supply chain, manufacturing, forecasting Experience in a demand planning / forecasting environment or with outsourced contract manufacturers a plus.
Basic knowledge of major MRP / ERP systems
Understanding of general supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand planning, and inventory replenishment processes.
Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that from balancing multiple priorities.
Proficient in MS office applications, including advanced Excel skills
Experience with Kinaxis, Oracle, Salesforce
Certification in Production and Inventory Management via APICS, CPIM a plus
Lean / Six Sigma experience - certification a plus
Strong communication, presentation, problem solving and analysis skills
BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other relevant field
