The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a full‑time faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor within the Department of Pediatrics, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. This non‑tenure track role focuses on primary and subspecialty pediatric endocrine care.
Role of the Position The successful candidate must demonstrate solid clinical, teaching and leadership skills, excellent interpersonal communication, team orientation, and a commitment to educational innovation. Clinical care is delivered at area hospitals—Sunrise/Children’s Hospital, UMC/Children’s Hospital, and other assigned sites—and outpatient care at the UNLV Health Faculty Practice clinic(s). The position may also involve administrative duties such as participation on hospital, departmental, and university committees, as well as outreach and advocacy activities.
Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Board Certified in Pediatrics (prior to start date).
Eligibility for an unrestricted Nevada medical license.
Proof of malpractice insurance and successful credentialing by affiliated teaching hospitals.
