Enterprise Architect – Commercial Real Estate
We are seeking an experienced
Enterprise Architect
to lead the design and governance of a modern data platform for the
Commercial Real Estate (CRE)
domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
data architecture, cloud data platforms (Snowflake), and analytics modernization , along with a strong understanding of CRE business processes (property, facility, and project management).
This role involves defining the
end-to-end data architecture blueprint , ensuring alignment between
business strategy, data governance, and technology implementation , and guiding engineering teams toward a scalable, metadata-driven, and AI-ready data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Architecture & Strategy
Define and own the
enterprise data architecture blueprint
for the CRE data platform on
Snowflake .
Design
data ingestion, transformation, and consumption frameworks
across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.
Establish
architecture principles, reference models, and standards
for data modeling, orchestration, and data governance.
Align architecture decisions with
business capabilities
such as asset management, investor relations, and facility management.
Align data architecture with facility management business capabilities – facility operations, occupancy analytics, maintenance, energy, and sustainability.
Technical Leadership
Guide
data modeling and transformation frameworks
using
DBT
and
Snowflake best practices
(schema design, clustering, performance optimization).
Collaborate with product, data science, and BI teams to enable
AI-driven insights
and
data democratization .
Drive integrations across GWS operational systems.
Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g.,
Snowflake Cortex, Iceberg, Data Sharing, AI/ML integrations ) for roadmap inclusion.
Governance & Standards
Define
metadata management, data lineage, and quality frameworks
in collaboration with governance teams (Collibra, Alation, etc.).
Enforce
security and compliance standards
including data masking, access control, and auditability.
Establish guidelines for
data contracts , versioning, and environment management across dev/test/prod.
Stakeholder Management
Act as a
bridge between business and technology , translating business goals into data-driven capabilities.
Partner with
CIO, CDO, and Solution Architects
to ensure architectural coherence across applications, data, and analytics.
Lead architecture reviews, technical workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of experience in
data and solution architecture , with at least 3+ years as an
Enterprise Architect .
Strong experience designing solutions on
Snowflake , including performance tuning, cost optimization, and security.
Hands‑on exposure to
DBT
for transformation,
Python/SQL , and
orchestration tools
(Airflow, Matillion, SnapLogic).
Good to have familiarity with
CRE business processes .
Experience with
data cataloging, lineage, and governance tools
(Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C‑level stakeholders.
