About Cycles Cycles' mission is to clear the most debt, for the most people, with the least capital. We're building a neutral clearing layer that connects every settlement network across global financial markets. By optimizing payment and credit flows, Cycles resolves gridlock and improves capital efficiency and liquidity. Our first product, Cycles for Business, allows businesses to manage their treasury, issue invoices, and pay bills, while maximizing savings and yield.
Cycles is an independent venture‑backed startup being incubated by Informal Systems. Cycles is backed by CMCC Global, Maven11, Compound VC, Primitive Ventures, Nascent and Cygni and is currently preparing for Series A. This role presents a rare opportunity to join a high‑growth startup and be a part of the founding team led by Ethan Buchman, co‑founder of Cosmos.
About the Role As the Enterprise Business Development Lead at Cycles, you will play a crucial role in leading the enterprise adoption of our innovative solutions across traditional finance (TradFi) and crypto financial institutions. You will work with trading firms, regional networks, repo markets, and government agencies to showcase the value of clearing and build the partnerships that drive our growth.
Primary responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to bring enterprise opportunities, including partnerships, to Cycles from TradFi and crypto sectors.
Explore product market fit and lead initiatives for clearing between trading firms, OTC desks, market‑makers, and exchanges.

Work closely with government agency partners to explore implementations of Cycles.
Lead end-to-end sales pipelines, from sourcing potential leads to closing deals.

Represent Cycles at industry conferences and events to enhance brand visibility and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in either crypto or TradFi sectors.
