Senior Security Classification Specialist

Responsibilities
Serve as a staff advisor to the Deputy Director for Decision Support in the Sensitive Intelligence Office for the CDAO, providing expert advice on authoring, reviewing, and implementing sensitive decision‑support initiatives, studies, and concepts applying operational art and design.
Analyze intelligence information in Data, Analytics, AI, Autonomy, and adversary collection activities to assess developments, trends, and threat implications.
Apply knowledge of technology protections, information operations, intelligence, counterintelligence, and strategic planning to develop estimates, options, and projects, and advise on mitigation strategies.
Ensure that studies, initiatives, and projects are objective and data‑driven, supporting effective decision making. Conduct operational risk management analysis to identify critical risks and advise CDAO leadership on suitability, feasibility, and value of potential initiatives, concepts, and studies.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships within the Military Departments, Combatant Commands, and appropriate Agencies and Field Activities, as well as components of the Intelligence Community to drive holistic strategic initiatives.
Support production of quarterly implementation plans and an annual assessment report for the current year strategy, including appropriate measures of performance and effectiveness and proposing new or updated strategies.
Minimum Candidate Requirements
10+ years of experience and in‑depth knowledge of Sensitive Decision Support (SDS) to DoW executives, including a comprehensive understanding of DoW intelligence and counterintelligence operations and how they interrelate to support relevant plans, studies, initiatives, and projects.
Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative techniques for analyzing and measuring effectiveness and efficiency of SDS planning and execution.
Skill in adapting those techniques to measure and improve effectiveness of associated operations, activities, and investments (OAI).
Comprehensive proficiency in threat analysis and risk management, including use of information technology automation software and processes used in the DoW, IC, and other Federal Agencies for gathering, tracking and analyzing vast amounts of information to fuse assessments and identify potential OAI, threats and associated risks to the DoW or the security of the United States.
Experience within Military Department headquarters staff or Combatant Command J3 supporting SDS activities.
Security Pre‑Requisite
Must have a current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
Desired Candidate Experience
Education and experience specific to AI/ML, Autonomy, Data Science, or similar/supporting emerging and disruptive technologies.
In-depth knowledge and experience performing or directly supporting counterintelligence operations, reveal/conceal and information operations.
Graduate of a Joint Planning Course or Graduation of a Joint Information Planning Course or Military Service‑specific equivalent.
Office Location and Travel Falls Church, VA (partial Telework eligible). Some travel required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current/active TS/SCI.
