Position description
The Shu Chien-Gene Lay Department of Bioengineering invites applications for temporary, non-tenure track lecturers. Courses may include undergraduate lower- and upper-division courses in major majors Bioengineering, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Bioengineering/BioSystems, Bioengineering/Bioinformatics, and graduate degree programs. The Jacobs School of Engineering is committed to diversity and inclusion. Candidates with experience or willingness to engage in diversity and inclusion activities are encouraged to apply. Qualifications
Basic qualifications
PhD or advancement to candidacy in Bioengineering, a related Engineering or Health Sciences discipline. Minimum of one quarter or semester teaching one or more courses at the undergraduate or graduate level, either as Instructor of Record or as a Teaching Assistant. Will consider equivalent industry experience such as presenting seminars or conducting trainings. Preferred qualifications
PhD in Bioengineering.
