Work in this family The position will be responsible for contributing to the design, documentation, and implementation of mechanical systems within the Chemistry Engineering group. In this role you will be responsible for existing and future mechanical designs of chemistry systems.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide technical support with a team of Engineers and Chemists in support of development, delivery, and troubleshooting products related to BWR Chemistry

Interface with internal and external customers on the resolution of technical issues related to GVH chemistry products

Occasional travel to customer sites to perform equipment/software installations, testing, and troubleshooting

Contribute to new plant design activities for chemistry systems and chemistry related issues

Support the development and execution of scopes for new projects, which may include laboratory testing, in-plant demonstration, and in-plant delivery / implementation· Interface with technical members and vendors of industry groups as needed to collaborate on areas of BWR chemistry

Operation and oversight of the operation of high temperature high pressure laboratory testing loops

Operation and oversight of the operation of analytical chemistry laboratory and equipment

Contribute to the overall business strategy and development of new products or services

Perform technical evaluations, analyses and verifications · Perform work in compliance with NRC regulated policies and procedures

Communicate progress to all levels of the organization

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical,or Chemical Engineering

Minimum of 1 years engineering experience

Eligibility Requirements;

The preferred work location for this role is at the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) in San Jose CA but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered. (Relocation assistance provided)

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in Nuclear Industry

Hands on Chemistry Lab experience (wet chemistry & analytical instruments)

Familiarity with BWR plant systems and/or chemistry issues

Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as internal and external customers

Demonstrated high energy and the ability to energize others

Demonstrated legacy of high integrity and positive representative of GEH within and outside the company

Legacy of delivering on commitments; tenacious, with a proven track record of overcoming obstacles; ability to achieve stretch targets

Strong external focus

Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $93,100.00 and $139,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
