Job Description The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant/Associate/Professor of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery.

Role of the Position The Department of Otolaryngology at Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at University of Nevada, Las Vegas seeks a full-time Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon, at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level.

Responsibilities include patient care, research and teaching for Otolaryngology residents, other residencies, and medical students; surgical practice and teaching in both inpatient and outpatient care settings, and clinical and/or basic science research. Must take calls and obtain privileges at several hospitals in the Las Vegas area.

Minimum Qualifications

MD/DO degree; completed residency from an ACGME accredited program prior to employment.

Board eligible or certified in Otolaryngology; if board eligible, obtain certification within two years of employment.

Fellowship training in Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery required.

Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance, and capable of being credentialed by Southern Nevada teaching hospitals and/or clinics.

Subject to background check.

Academic credentials, terminal degree, and scholarly activity will be considered for rank recommendation; tenure may be given upon hire on a case‑by‑case basis.
