Albany International Corp.

Company Overview Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components to help customers push the frontiers of innovation. AEC’s core strength is producing highly tailored, complex composite components with a unique blend of 3D woven structures, traditional and non‑traditional 2D composite structures, and discrete through‑thickness reinforcement technologies. Our products meet performance and cost specifications often beyond metallic or conventional laminated composites, and have been used on commercial platforms such as Boeing 7‑series, Airbus A380, Sikorsky S‑76 helicopter, and for defense programs including F‑35 Lightning II, CH‑53K, and JASSM.

Define plans to support, improve or define OEE, TPM, PM, PdM, RUL, equipment reliability/availability, obsolescence, spare‑parts identification, and equipment qualification.

Use analytical tools (SPC, IoT sensor monitoring, Renishaw Ballbar, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, power analysis, ANOVA, machine learning) to monitor and evaluate equipment performance.

Manage capital projects or define Scope of Work (SOW) and specifications for new equipment.

Initiate process improvements focused on safety, cycle‑time reduction, machine efficiency, and defect reduction to support plant OEE goals.
