In this role, you will:
Support the National Security mission areas with long‑term planning, technology insertion, and architecture decisions
Support the development and communication of the missile and space sensing architectural futures
Ensure assessment and conversion of mission needs/requirements into total mission systems solutions that account for the design and technology maturity constraints of the system
Develop innovative next‑gen mission systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definitions
Continuously translate architecture analysis into action plans and product development roadmaps
Support the development and management of overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards
Work with Enterprise Centers of Excellence, Supply Chain, and LOB leadership to translate mission and product roadmaps into technology investment and industry partnership decisions
Support internal and external mission system design reviews
Develop multi‑domain solutions to the sensing and missile missions and work seamlessly to support both Line of Business and Business Development efforts
Seek and foster knowledge of current and developing technologies, design, and analysis methodologies
Develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future mission system development efforts
Work with Business Development and Government Affairs to coordinate with the customer environment, requirements and architectures
Build successful teams with internal stakeholders (Business Development and central Engineering), as well as with external stakeholders (suppliers, mission partners and USG laboratories)
US citizenship required for clearance
Basic Qualifications:
Experience performing in a Systems Architect role on a space development program
Experience in the design or analysis of space communication, sensing or missile systems
Familiarity with MBSE concepts
Ability and willingness to obtain LM Systems Architect certification within 12 months of starting in this role
Active TS/SCI access, with prior polygraph
Desired Skills:
10+ yrs Experience performing in a Systems Architect role on a space development program
10+ yrs Experience in the design or analysis of space communication, sensing or missile systems
Experience performing in a Systems Architect role on a large and complex DoD/IC space hardware development efforts
Experience with space‑based communications or sensing systems
Experience applying MBSE concepts in a Systems Engineer or Systems Architect role
Current LM Systems Architect certification, at the Qualified level or higher
Prior SAP access
Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 – $266,570. In most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York the range is $173,900 – $301,415. (Additional local adjustments apply.)
