We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Metrics and Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess foundational industry knowledge, experience leveraging large datasets, proficiency in building Excel models and utilizing BI tools, and the ability to create and improve baseline tools and scorecards to measure the performance of our Underwriting Operations department. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the strategic decisions made by the leadership team.
What You’ll Be DOING
Assist with maintenance of baseline reporting tools to measure the effectiveness of the Underwriting Operations team, including team/individual performance scorecards, management reporting dashboards, staffing models and production reporting.
Extract and share relevant insights from reporting to support strategic and tactical decision-making by identifying opportunities for training, process / automation improvements, staffing or service adjustments.
Working closely with Operations leaders, Finance, Innovation Data & Analytics and other teams, assist with development of impactful data presentations (e.g., via Excel, BI, other dashboards).
Assist in educating stakeholders on reporting tools and methods and provide additional training and support as directed.
Support Operations Leaders by fulfilling ad hoc data and analysis requests as assigned.
You will report to the Senior Operations Metrics and Reporting Analyst.

Required Skills And Abilities
Experience leveraging large datasets, preferably in an insurance setting, with a proven ability to build Excel models and utilize BI tools.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to build and enhance data analysis tools.
Experience with commercial insurance operations and able to assist with development of metrics to measure the capacity and outputs of operational teams.
Strong presentation skills to assist leadership with strategic decision-making.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $53,100 - $84,000 USD. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience and location.
