We work with a nationwide client base and specialize in working with business owners going through an exit.

To support our continued growth, we are seeking an Operations Director to lead our firm’s operational strategy, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

The Operations Director is a key leadership role responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing all aspects of firm operations — from overseeing client service, account administration, technology integration, compliance coordination, and team development.

You’ll be the key link between strategy and execution, which will enable our advisors to focus on clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Technology and Systems

Manage and optimize the firm’s technology stack, including CRM (Wealthbox and Salesforce), custodial platforms, financial planning software, and performance reporting systems.

Evaluate and implement technologies that improve automation, integration, and data integrity.

Partner with vendors and custodians to resolve operational issues and ensure reliable service delivery.

Client Experience and Service Delivery

Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Client Service Team to ensure consistent, high-quality client experience across all service channels.

Oversee client onboarding, account maintenance, billing, and reporting workflows — ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to firm policies.

Partner with the Client Service Team to design, implement, and refine service standards, training protocols, and process documentation.

Collaborate closely with advisory teams to ensure seamless coordination between advisors, operations, and client service functions.

Monitor key client service and operational metrics (e.g., response times, onboarding cycle duration, service satisfaction) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Work with the Client Service Team to identify workflow enhancements, eliminate redundancies, and foster a culture of operational excellence and client-centered service.

Compliance and Risk Management

Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure operational procedures align with SEC and custodial requirements.

Maintain data security, confidentiality, and accuracy across systems and workflows.

Support compliance audits and contribute to risk mitigation initiatives through sound operational design.

Lead and mentor a growing team of operations and client service professionals.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and career growth.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Deep understanding of RIA custodial processes, client onboarding, billing, and reporting workflows.

Proficiency with Wealthbox CRM and Orion, or similar advisory platforms.

Proven success leading operational process improvements and implementing technology solutions.

Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred:

Experience scaling operations in a growing RIA or multi-advisor firm.

Familiarity with the Generational Group ecosystem or similar integrated advisory models.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

5–8 years of progressive experience in operations management within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or similar financial services environment.

Education and Experience Preferred but Not Required

Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other project management certifications (a plus but not required).

MBA or advanced degree in business or operations management.
