Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is seeking candidates for a Senior Core Directorate PM Support to support a government customer at Ft. Detrick. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The salary range for this exempt position has been established at:

$105,000 - $119,000.

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Job Summary The Employee shall support tasks within the Core Support Directorate including Division of Medicine (DoM), Pathology Division, Regulated Research Administration Division, and Veterinary Medicine Division. Employee shall be proficient in EXCEL, MS Project, and have demonstrated ability to (a) work independently (b) form and lead teams, (c) multi-task in a high‑paced environment, (d) assist in gap coverage and training of new PMs as appropriate, and (e) communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The Employee shall assist Division PIs in the preparation and review of all new research proposal submissions and/or change requests impacting in‑progress research. They verify that Project Review Committee (PRC) document packets are complete and properly routed, work with various support areas to resolve any issues, and track the status of all assigned Division submissions to RPO’s BIP Office.

The Employee shall work with Division PIs to ensure completeness of agreement packets and ensures correct routing for approval, working closely with RPO’s ORTA to maintain a working knowledge of agreement processes and procedures.

The Employee shall track project‑related staffing coverage (FTE) for assigned Division scientific personnel funded by projects by month, consolidate and report Division‑level data for Command Budget Estimate (CBE) and other financial or project related taskers, and assist with service rate calculations for Core support divisions.

The Employee shall consolidate, review and report on assigned Division task execution metrics, identify, prevent or resolve project issues and risks, and inform Division and RPO leadership of significant issues and risks, assisting in developing risk mitigation strategies.

The Employee shall consolidate, review and track budget execution reports, assess Spend Plans to ensure projects are being executed according to approved plans, and assist Division PIs in identifying solutions to issues/risks.

The Employee shall track all Division CR submissions, monitor status, conduct quality checks of CR documentation prior to submission, and create, revise, review, and manage CR requests IAW standardized rules.

The Employee shall provide quality control/quality review support of all project‑related documents to enhance quality through standardization, compile Division‑level data as requested to support project or science related taskers, assist with initiation of Dual Use Research of Concern (DURC) reviews when necessary, and monitor due dates of project report deliverables.

The Employee shall provide training and mentorship for newly hired or current PMs on USAMRIID‑specific procedures, systems and processes, may provide project management support to other Directorates or Divisions, and may also support special efforts within the Institute.

The Employee shall communicate and coordinate with Division Chief, PIs, study staff, and service areas to facilitate project execution, track and assist with completion/documentation of critical tasks, deliverables, milestones, agreements, and purchases required to execute projects, and conduct required product/service research and documentation.

The Employee shall participate in weekly meetings with Directorate/Division/Branch leadership and funding agency to facilitate PM discussion and provide updates and progress execution, and participate in Scientific Progress report meetings with researchers to track project progress and adjust timeline and spending plans.

The Employee shall assist in the preparation of technical reports, new proposals, and manuscripts as requested, may be required to travel and participate with the government at scientific conferences or meetings with funding agencies to assist in the identification of funding opportunities, and shall identify, record, and report potential opportunities to the TPOC for consideration and evaluation.

On average, the Employee shall be expected to directly facilitate annual project execution of approximately $10‑15 M in research and oversee a Directorate research portfolio of approximately $20‑30 M.
