Base Salary $140,000–$175,000 (based on exp.) + Bonus
General Contractor
is seeking an experienced
Superintendent
(or
Senior Superintendent ) to lead the field execution of high‑profile
commercial construction projects
in the
Medical, Education, Retail, and Commercial
sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Direct day‑to‑day field operations, including subcontractor coordination, site safety, and quality control.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards (OSHA), and quality expectations.
Conduct daily site meetings, inspections, and progress reporting.
Proactively identify and resolve field issues; serve as the primary leader on‑site.
Enforce safety protocols and lead weekly toolbox talks and inspections.
Qualifications
5+ years of field leadership experience in commercial construction.
Strong experience with complex vertical projects in Medical, Education (K‑12), Retail, or Commercial Office.
Candidates with only multifamily experience (under 10 stories) will not be considered.
Track record of delivering projects over $20M on schedule and within budget.
Proficient with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
