Base pay range $55.00/hr - $65.00/hr
Position Summary The Senior Oracle Developer / Analyst Programmer will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications and related systems. This position involves implementing new ERP‑related applications, enhancing existing solutions, and ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of Oracle‑based systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Oracle development tools and methodologies, particularly within Oracle EBS 12.2.8 or higher, and demonstrate strong collaboration skills across functional and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Support
Design, develop, and implement new ERP‑related applications and system enhancements.
Support, maintain, and enhance existing Oracle EBS solutions including packages, procedures, triggers, reports, forms, interfaces, and workflows.
Perform application implementation, performance tuning, and code migrations.
Technical Standards & Documentation
Enforce SQL/PLSQL coding standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and process guidelines.
Prepare and deliver regular project and status updates to management and key stakeholders.
Work closely with Oracle Support to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Collaborate effectively with IT, Finance, and Executive teams to ensure system stability and alignment with business objectives.
Supervise and mentor up to five (5) less experienced Analyst Programmers; support training for up to ten (10) end‑users as needed.
ERP & Business Process Support
Maintain and enhance legacy Oracle codebase developed over the past 20 years, including specialized customizations.
Support month‑end close processes and Oracle ERP workflows.
Ensure strong functional and technical understanding of Oracle EBS modules—particularly
Project Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL),
and
Procurement .
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of
7 years
of progressively responsible experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Database products.
Proven expertise in Oracle technology solutions including data flows, interfaces, and core EBS functionality.
Hands‑on experience with:
Strong experience with the
Project Accounting
module (preferred).
Proficiency in writing technical design and requirement documents.
Experience performing Oracle ERP code migrations and performance optimization.
Familiarity with the
HRMS
module is a plus.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and unit testing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation and present complex information effectively.
