Energy Efficiency Program Support Manager
Responsibilities
Oversee the performance of office and field vendors contracted to deliver program services.
Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols.
Lead and participate in cross‑functional teams (RES, Customer Care, Contracting, Procurement, Legal, Marketing, IT, etc.) to deliver program services.
Enhance program delivery/customer experience and resolve business/customer issues.
Develop and maintain the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for BPU approved programs.
Provide oversight for business controls, process improvement and compliance.
Ensure accurate invoice processing.
Identify and implement process improvements and automate where possible.
Monitor program Key Performance Indicators to ensure program delivery meets business plan expectations and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present program and project status reports to senior management.
Assist with special projects as necessary.
Foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity; value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.
May be required to perform functions outside routine duties during storm restoration efforts on a schedule different from normal operations.
Support the mid‑market team (mid‑to‑low range energy customers).
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Management, Engineering, Business, Finance or other relevant field or equivalent work experience + 7 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields.
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification preferred.
MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
In lieu of a degree, 11 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related field.
Experience managing vendor performance and leading cross‑functional teams; Energy Efficiency or Electric Vehicle program experience.
Management/leadership experience working with cross‑functional teams.
Valid US driver's license.
Industry experience with energy efficiency programs.
Customer relationship/management experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
7+ years of experience is required.

In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee.
