The Wholesale Distribution Pharmacy Coordinator reports to the Wholesale Operations Pharmacist Supervisor and is responsible for managing inventory procurement and purchasing processes for the Care at Home wholesale distribution. Also facilitates the sale and delivery of pharmaceuticals through the wholesale operation to the appropriate customer base and acts as a customer service representative and point of contact for all involved parties. Also maintains inventory control and keeps purchase and usage data records to produce appropriate reports.

Education:

H.S. diploma or equivalent

Experience/Requirements:

One to two years of experience as a hospital, community or Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician and/or Pharmacy Inventory Specialist (preferred).

Pharmacy Technician Certification

Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration

Knowledge:

Knowledge of Johns Hopkins Pharmaquip's mission, organization, and procedures.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of infusion supplies and clinical processes.

Knowledge of general inventory accounting practices.

Knowledge of SAP and McKesson connect (preferred)

Skills:

Ability to work with computers for data entry and manipulation.

Ability to manage multiple priority projects with multiple deadlines, meeting deadlines on time.

Ability to change from one work project to another quickly as required by the workload.

Ability to communicate well, both orally and in written format.

Ability to work well under stressful conditions.

Ability to use appropriate customer service techniques to diffuse difficult situations and people.

Strong attention to details.

Ability to follow directions, protocols or procedures precisely.

Practices teamwork both within the pharmacy department and with the pharmacy's internal customers.

Takes ownership of the results required of the position.

Communicates problems to the appropriate person and enables their solution.

Salary Range: Minimum$20.23/visit - Maximum$33.40/visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
