Onward Search Education provided pay range: $50.00/hr - $57.00/hr
Position Overview School Social Worker in DuPage County, IL for the 2025–2026 school year.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support early learners in a collaborative, student-centered environment. You'll play a vital role in fostering social-emotional growth and behavioral development among preschool and early elementary students, making a lasting impact during this critical stage of education.
Location: DuPage County, IL
Grade Level: 3-5 year olds
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:10am-3:10pm
Responsibilities
Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support.
Participate in IEP meetings and help develop service plans.
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
Deliver both individual and small group counseling.
Maintain documentation and support compliance efforts.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or School Counseling.
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) or School Counselor endorsement – required.
Experience working with early childhood or preschool-aged students.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care early intervention.
