Schenectady Center is hiring a Business Office Assistant in Schenectady, NY.
DUTIES:
Provide daily support to the Business Office team with administrative and clerical tasks
Assist residents and families with completing financial paperwork and answering routine questions
Help collect and organize documentation for Medicaid and insurance applications
Enter census and billing information accurately into facility software
Track payments and assist with collection efforts under the direction of the Business Office Manager
Process resident fund requests and maintain records
Ensure admission agreements and related documents are complete and filed correctly
Perform additional office duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Some knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance processes is a plus
Comfortable communicating with residents, families, and staff in a professional manner
Computer proficiency required; Microsoft Office experience preferred
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
Ability to work independently while also supporting the team
