Job Title Project Coordinator

Location: Campus, Salt Lake City, UT

Pay: $14.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Open Date: 11/06/2025

Close Date: 12/31/2025

Standard Hours: 40 per week

Full Time, Day Shift Mon‑Fri 8‑5pm

Responsibilities

Assist with program planning and implementation for HWWTP and HDPTP.

Compile, sort, and organize data for entry into a database and conduct program research.

Respond to emails, provide information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls.

Assist and respond to online course technical issues and concerns.

Assist with online marketing and targeted population outreach.

Assist in creation and distribution of program materials, forms, and correspondence.

Enter training numbers into DMS system and provide administrative support for training and new course development.

Provide program‑specific training as needed.

Attend outreach events (travel required); occasional nights and weekends.

Edit research papers, project reports, proposals and curriculum materials prior to publication.

Prepare format for final disposition of data; maintain an internal library on project information resources.

Collaborate with research personnel in design, preparation, logistics, and data recording.

Arrange facilities, schedule locations, manage inventory, certificates, attendance/rosters, manage surveys and evaluations, start/stop courses for in‑person, online, and live training events.

Update websites, social media marketing, publications; attend conferences; participate in course needs assessments.

Support development, planning, and implementation of resiliency and other courses (HWWTP, HDPTP).

Support other grant partners (P2R Consortium).

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalency) plus two years of related experience.

Ability to use logic and reasoning to prioritize tasks.

Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheet software, and/or database software.

Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills.

Preferences: EMT/Hazwoper background, strong administrative, IT, and people skills; part‑time remote work possible; at least 2 years related experience.

Entry‑Level Project Coordinator I: requires bachelor’s + 2 years experience or master’s.

Developing‑Level Project Coordinator II: requires bachelor’s + 4 years experience or master’s + 2 years experience.

Equivalency statement: one year of higher education can be substituted for one year of related work experience.
