Project Coordinator – Commercial Banking (Contract)

Hyrbid/Remote (Central Ohio Region preferred – must work EST hours)

Pay Rate:
$39/hr (Non-Exempt, 40 hours/week)

Overview The Project Coordinator supports the Commercial Banking Change Management team, which focuses on colleague experience, change readiness, and customer impact across key business initiatives. This role plays a vital part in driving successful execution of enterprise-wide projects, including post-merger integration, system rollouts, and customer engagement campaigns.
The ideal candidate is a
self-starter , highly
organized , and has experience within
Commercial Banking
or
financial services
project environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide project coordination and administrative support across multiple initiatives.
Maintain and update project plans, documentation, and schedules in project management tools.
Communicate progress updates to leadership and stakeholders, escalating risks and issues as needed.
Coordinate and document project meetings, deliverables, and approvals.
Support risk and issue tracking, decision logs, and change management processes.
Assist with reporting, demand management, and resource planning efforts.
Lead small project enhancement or improvement efforts as experience grows.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 1 year of experience in project coordination or project management
Preferred:
Experience in Commercial Banking, Change Management, or Financial Services
Strong organizational, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum)
Experience using MS Project, ServiceNow PPM, or similar project tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Additional Details
Must work Eastern Standard Time hours
Preference for candidates located in
Ohio or Michigan
(Central Ohio region ideal)
Travel required- (When needed)
Contract only; hourly pay based on experience
