Furniture Manufacturing, Quality Control Inspector
Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr
Job Summary Inspects each piece of furniture as it reaches the end of the upholstery line prior to packing.
Essential Functions of the Job
Inspect items such as pleats, width of legs, cushion regulation, staples in material, black bottom, waves or pulls in arms, flaws or tears in material, stains, holes in black bottom, loose tacking strips, etc.
Ensure cover is pulled tight on the back and other areas of furniture.
Apply tags and labels as directed.
Attend safety audits as needed.
Contact upholstery line supervisor and/or quality control supervisor as rejects occur or questions arise about quality requirements.
Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED not required.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Working Conditions Typical factory working conditions with exposure to heat, dust, oil, etc. Pay range is $22.50 - 24.00 / hour.
